Board Member – Chanel Ratliff


Chanel Ratliff of Grand Canyon University is a 20-year Higher Education Professional born and raised in North Carolina. Ms. Ratliff’s career in Higher Education began with her Alma Mater North Carolina Central University in 1999. Once noticed by her colleagues as an up and coming Enrollment and Higher Education Professional. Ms. Ratliff join the Leadership Team of Livingstone College as the Associate Dean of Admission to enhance enrollment and the overall vision of the University.

After close to 6 years with Livingstone College, Chanel embarked on an opportunity to enhance the lives of Adult Learners with the University Phoenix by serving as a Corporate Education Liaison and Adjunct Faculty Member. During that time Grand Canyon University was seeking to increase their presence in North Carolina. Chanel then join the Enrollment Team of Grand Canyon University as an Regional Enrollment Advisor, University Development Manager and currently still works within University Development to maintain and build partnerships in North Carolina to offer and enhance Education and the Lives of working adults.


Ms. Ratliff, is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and is a proud three time Graduate of North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Master of Public Administration and Master of Information Science. Chanel is an active of the Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, Volunteers with Durham Habitat for Humanity.
